About me
Hi, I'm David Hope, a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor. Since qualifying 11 years ago I have helped pupils of all ages become confident and safe drivers, with a highly successful pass rate.
Before becoming a Driving Instructor I completed a hugely enjoyable 25 year military career. During this time I drove many different types of vehicles both wheeled and tracked, in all types of conditions and on all types of terrains.
I am very passionate about driving and road safety, and enjoy sharing my skills, knowledge and experience with other people. I became a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. I was also always being told by friends and work colleagues that I was a calm and relaxed type of person and that I would make a great Driving Instructor.
I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and as productive as possible, helping you learn to drive safely and at a pace that suits you. Lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making pupils feel at ease during lessons.
